I hope this new site design will be easier to maintain leading to more frequent updates. You will also notice some new features including:
User Comments
Each entry whether it is a collection of symbols, a PIO or a gallery image can be commented on by the users. Now you can get feedback from others who have already downloaded a tool.
A Blog
We are starting a blog to discuss topics related to VectorWorks. Hopefully this can be a lively discussion on topics of interest.
RSS Feeds
We have implemented RSS feeds so that you can track when the site is updated with your favorite RSS reader. Mac users already have a handy RSS reader built in to Safari. You can track individual pages such as the Symbols or Plug-ins page or even the blog to see when we update.
With the redesign with are starting with fresh content in each of our sections. Don't worry the old files are still available and can be found be browsing through the old links section. See the menu to the left for all the links.
There are bound to be bumps in the road during this transition so please let me know if you find any errors.
Note that with the new site design we have decided to eliminate the separate downloads for Mac/Windows. With the advent of OS X mac users can easily hand ZIP format archive files. Please let us know if this creates any problems.
