Bookshelf allows you to keep a reference library within your Vectorworks drawings. What you put in your library is up to you.
From websites, manufacturers specs and contracts to other drawings, notes and spreadsheets, every user needs to refer to other materials in their day to day Vectorworking. Bookshelf lets you organize all these references and quickly jump to them from within Vectorworks.
You can create as many libraries as you like from project specific libraries linking to site plans, other VW drawings, specifications and manufacturers details to office standard libraries for things you use on all your projects such as drafting standards, contact information and calendars.
Any file that your computer knows how to open can be referenced from Bookshelf. You can store bookmarks from your browser and quickly load the window specifications for the project you are working on. You can store a link to a PDF file containing a site plan from your surveyor. If your computer can open the file you can link it in Bookshelf and quickly jump to it. No more hunting through folders on your hard drive. Organize your resources right in Vectorworks.
